The inspiration of the Okashicon X NinjaHELL! Anime RPG Design Contest, this contest was run on SomethingAwful's TradGames board. They were arguing about there not being any good Anime RPGs, so I offered to run a contest to fix the issue. The contest had over fourty people sign up from around the world, and we ended with 9 finalists.
We judged each game over two sessions, with each judge scoring on a scale of 1-5 in three different categories.
