And thus, we've hit the end. The head judges of the design contest run on SomethingAwful last year, where participants had to make an Anime tabletop Role Playing Game of a randomly assigned genre (with the requirement of all entries to be some sort of sequel series). We all talk about the finalists, the prizes, and our thoughts on how the contest went.
And now, the final episode of game judging! What a crazy year, huh? This time, we play as divinities located in This, which is Our Milwaukee. How will the game shape up?
Betcha didn't see that one coming...*And thus, we have our final submission up for judging from the February Traditional Game Design contest run on SomethingAwful. Davin Valkri's "Gendai no Kami: Modern Divinities (Little Miracles)" gets the "This is My Milwaukee" treatment as we make both old gods and recreate Milwaukee in glorious 2D. Get it? Cuz it's written on paper? This has been a weird few months... *unless you guessed it between the two optionsWill our brave soldier librarians make it through the remaining three days? Will cake be eaten? Will someone actually get an ending to their story at all, or will they end up falling into the abyss of history left forgotten? No, but seriously, do they end up eating cake?!?We finish our playthough of the last original finalist of the TG Design Contest we ran on SomethingAwful earlier this year. Curious how they did? Listen in already! Cheat Sheets we mentioned having on our phones are available at the link below (if you're reading this on iTunes, visit out episode listing on ninjahell.com). ![]()
